I have a terrible memory, but some time when Paul and I were living in China, Mat had a trip over there for work. He surprised me with a Skype call to tell me all about the interesting food he'd been eating, including some donkey meat. I lived in China for more than four years and never knowingly ate donkey, but Mat was fearless in his culinary adventures!
